Joint Names are not unique

I am using a Genesis 8 custom Character along with purchased clothing content and hair.  Is there any way to manually edit the joint names before exporting OR is there a setting in DAZ3D to force unique joint names upon export? 

I saw a previous answer that suggested installing a whole separate runtime folder for the character and that is pretty clunky and not really an option for me right now. 

Any suggestions would be helpful.
