  • It should work. We can export animation as .bvh assets. You can see if you can import them as animation assets for Second Life and let us know if you encounter any issues.

Here is a Wiki page regarding animation import into SecondLife:

    • GongfuTiger Good afternoon,
I did try to import .bvh files into Second Life.  I was unable to and I received an error.  (Unable to read animation file. Incorrect Root name. use "hip" ) I did change hip in the file and was able to start to load,  but I believe that all the joint names are causing an issue.  Have you tested this in Second Life?
      Thanks

  • If it helps anyone, I was able to import the bvs and run a retarget using the Avastar add on.

Instructions on how to use this is here:

    https://avalab.org/avastar/300/help/n-panel/retarget/motion-transfer/

There are bone differences but Avastar has a nice way to map those manually. I was able to then export into anim file and import it cleanly into SL
