Iclone 8 import without 3dXchange

I see on the tutorials there is an issue importing files straight into iclone 8 and Character creater, but you have a work around using the 3Dxchange software. Unfortunately this software is no longer available. Do you have another workaround for importing motion into iclone 8 or character creater
