Blendshape and face tracking issues
is anyone else having issues with retargeting their face animations in Maya?
I used the deepmotion default model and facial expressions came out fine but when I try to retarget the fbx on my custom model in maya, the expressions are all over the place. I am new to 3D but i am certain that i followed all the instructions of face tracking technical specifications and my face rig contains the 39 Blendshape subset of the the 52 ARKit Blendshape standard.
i keep tweaking things and there are improvements but if I have to do this every-time it will be disastrous in terms of time and effort and quality of results. Any help or suggestions are truly appreciated.
