Is DeepMotion's Avatar engine still available?

I saw a lot of tutorials for Avatar Character engine, but I can't find a link to the app anywhere. I would REALLY love to try this feature and mix that character with Animate3D.

Was Avatar Character Engine available at one point and no longer available? I can't seem to find the link anywhere. Thanks for any help.

  • The open Alpha program for Avatar was closed.  The Avatar Physics Engine is currently only available to business for commercial licensing.  If you are interested in using it in commercial applications welcome to contact us via the following form and select "Other" as the product type and add "Avatar Physics Engine" to the text box:

  • Thank you for the answer! I was looking everywhere, but could not find it.

The Avatar Physics Engine, just to clarify, allows you to customize your Avatar for use with Animate 3D? If yes, I'll do as you say and see what the price is. Thanks for the clarification

    • VoiceOver Mocap You don't need Avatar Physics Engine (aka "APE") to customize your Avatar model used in Animate 3D. In fact you can already import your own custom character model as FBX into Animate 3D, just that some guidelines need to be followed for the model and the rig.  APE is for real-time applications that need to simulate a humanoid character or mechanical machines in realtime with physical collisions with the virtual environment.
